Caris Bonowski

VP LOGISTICS

Caris is in her 4th year of a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Strategic Management with a Certificate in Sustainability. Caris attended the 2025 conference as a delegate and was inspired by the incredible group of strong women and future leaders. She looks forward to coming back this year in the VP Logistics role. She is passionate about uplifting and encouraging others to dream big on their personal and professional journeys, and is confident that NEW will be a wonderful space for that. Beyond university, she enjoys backpacking, skiing, disc golf, and anything else you can do in the mountains!

Poorvi Kapoor

LOGISTICS DIRECTOR

Poorvi is currently in her fourth year of her Bachelor of Commerce Co-operative Education degree, with a major in Business Technology Management, and a minor in Finance. After seeing the impact NEW had on past delegates and learning more about its mission, she knew she wanted to be part of the executive team. She is absolutely thrilled to serve as the Logistics Director for the 2026 conference.

In this role, Poorvi looks forward to contributing to the successful execution of another meaningful conference, and hopes to help create a space where every delegate feels welcomed, supported, and inspired to grow. Outside of NEW, she enjoys trying new cafes, loves cooking, and values spending quality time with family and friends.
