Kaitlyn is in her third year as an Accounting major at the University of Alberta. After seeing past delegates attend the NEW conference, Kaitlyn was inspired by the desire to see women break barriers and reach their full potential. As NEW and Kaitlyn hold the same values, Kaitlyn is excited to be part of the NEW executive team as an external director.

This year Kaitlyn hopes to create a memorable experience for all attending and for the delegates to meet with different professionals and feel empowered to pursue any future goals they set out.

Kaitlyn also values quality time with her friends, family and two French Bulldogs. She loves to explore the outdoors whether that’s going on runs, hikes, or finding different cafes in Edmonton. Kaitlyn is looking forward to the NEW Conference and being there to support and uplift the women around her.

Gurjot is currently in her second year at the Alberta School of Business, pursuing a major in finance. Gurjot has always had an immense passion for women's empowerment and uplifting those around her, which is what led her to the NEW team in the first place.

She is returning to the executive team after a remarkable 2023 Conference where she served as the Director of PR. This year, she is thrilled to take on the role of Vice President External on the 2024 NEW Executive Team. She is eagerly poised to contribute to the successful execution of yet another impactful conference, further her understanding of women's empowerment, and curate an unforgettable experience for this year's esteemed delegates.

Outside of her academic pursuits, Gurjot devotes her leisure time to fostering meaningful connections with her family and friends. Additionally, Gurjot actively engages in volunteer work at a long-term care facility for veterans. She loves to spend time with the senior residents and cherishes the opportunity to listen and learn from their life experiences.

Hannah is in her third year at the University of Alberta School of Business and is pursuing a major in marketing. She wanted to be more involved in campus life in the upcoming year and wanted to join NEW because of their belief in uplifting women in pursuing their goals. She had heard about NEW from some peers who had attended the conference in past years and appreciated the sense of community that NEW has created for past delegates and members.

In her personal time, Hannah enjoys dancing, spending time outside with friends and family, reading, and traveling (especially to the beach)! Hannah is very excited about the opportunity to get to know some of the future leaders in all different industries.
