Events

Ashley is currently in her fifth and final year at the Alberta School of Business pursuing a major in Finance and a minor in Sociology. After hearing about NEW through friends and around school, she was inspired by their vision and was passionate about joining the organization. Ashley resonates with the values of the club and hopes to bring this to life through the various events that the conference will host this year. She has been part of women empowerment groups in the past and has always been proud of the amazing accomplishments these groups are able to achieve, and cannot wait to see NEW 2024 to do the same.

Trish is in her fourth year at the University of Alberta School of Business, majoring in Human Resources. Outside of school, Trish finds joy in various activities such as going to the gym, reading and learning new languages. Currently, she is teaching herself Spanish, Korean, and Chinese. 

 

As a part-time events coordinator at Westcorp in Edmonton, Trish actively contributes her skills and passion to create successful events. She is thrilled to be a part of the team and looks forward to meeting and connecting with inspiring women through NEW. Her enthusiasm to empower others aligns perfectly with the conference's mission, and she is excited to contribute her efforts toward achieving this goal.

Raifa is a fourth-year business student with a major in Accounting and a minor in Business Technology Management. She decided to join NEW as it aligns perfectly with her values on the importance of women supporting and uplifting each other. She's excited to be part of a community that empowers women to overcome challenges and inspires them to embrace their full potential.

In her free time, Raifa enjoys having walks and picnics at the River Valley. She is super excited to help create a memorable and impactful conference for everyone!
