Nour Hegazy
VP EVENTS
Nour is in her fourth year at the University of Alberta, pursuing a major in Business Technology Management. She had an incredible time as the Logistics Director last year and is thrilled for the opportunity to be VP of Events for the 2026 conference. Growing up surrounded by strong women, Nour shows her passion for women empowerment. Her enthusiasm to empower others aligns perfectly with the conference's mission, and she is excited to contribute her efforts toward achieving this goal.
Alongside NEW, Nour is the Internal Director for the BTM club this year. In her free time, she loves discovering new restaurants, staying active through sports like volleyball, and enjoying quality time with her family and friends!
Hailey Reimer
EVENTS DIRECTOR
Hailey is in her fourth year at the University of Alberta, majoring in Business Economics and Law. After attending the NEW Conference as a delegate, she is thrilled to return as part of the 2026 Executive Team, serving as an Events Director.

With a passion for planning and creating meaningful experiences, Hailey is excited to help carry forward NEW’s legacy of empowering women and fostering community. Outside of academics, you can find her enjoying the outdoors, golfing, skiing, or catching up with friends on a sunny patio. Hailey looks forward to contributing to an unforgettable conference experience and growing alongside such an inspiring team and community.
Harjee Sahota
EVENTS DIRECTOR
Harjee is in her second year pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Marketing and a minor in Human Resources. Alongside her business studies, she is a licensed real estate agent, driven by a strong passion for the industry. After attending last year’s conference as a delegate, she left feeling incredibly empowered and inspired. Now, she’s grateful for the opportunity to be part of the team as one of the Directors of Events for the 2026 conference. Harjee is excited to help bring that same energy to this year’s event and contribute to creating an uplifting and memorable experience for all delegates.
